Wayne State College softball moved a home NSIC doubleheader indoors while the Wayne High baseball team battled the cold during a site reversal with an original road outing being scheduled.
From the Wildcat Dome, WSC picked up wins of 6-3 (seven innings) and 9-0 (five innings) over Augustana.
The Wildcats used a no-hitter in game two (first since 2016).
Wayne State College (30-8, 10-4 NSIC) will next visit Winona State and Minnesota State-Mankato this weekend April 11-12.
From Hank Overin Field in Wayne, the Blue Devils scored three runs late but suffered a 4-3 home loss to Mount Michael Benedictine.
Wayne High (5-5) will next visit St. Paul/Palmer on April 9 at 4:30 p.m. (JV to follow), travel to Blair for games on April 10-11 during a tourney and also face Holdrege in York on April 13 at 1 p.m. Next home action for WHS will be April 14 hosting Thurston-Cuming County at 4:30 p.m. (JV to follow).
