From the final regular season weekend home matches for one Wayne State College fall sport to the opening season of games for another pair of sports, it was a 'Great Day to be a Wildcat' on Nov. 14.
From Rice Auditorium, #3 WSC secured a 3-0 sweep over Jamestown (ND) (25-20, 25-11, 25-21).

The Wildcats (25-3/18-1 NSIC) have now won 12 straight and close out their regular season with a home match on Nov. 15 against RV Northern State at 5 p.m. Head coach Scott Kneifl now sits at 499 career wins.
Nov. 15 is also Veterans Appreciate Day starting with Wayne State College football at 1 p.m. vs. #13 Augustana University followed by the volleyball match at 5 p.m. on Saturday. With a Military ID, Veterans will gain access free to both events.
Also, both of the WSC basketball programs were down in St. Joseph, Missouri on Nov. 14.
During the Central Region Challenge, the Wildcat women won 55-39 over Emporira State while the WSC men secured an 80-76 victory against Emporira State during the Missouri Western Classic.
Both teams are back in action on Nov. 15 with the Wayne State College women's basketball team facing Northwest Missouri State at noon while the Wildcat men will face Missouri Western at noon.
