For the second time in 2025, the Winside girls and boys basketball teams were in action on the home court.
From Winside, the Wildcats played host to Madison on Tuesday.
The Winside girls dropped a 43-39 outing while the Winside boys lost 68-32 against the visiting Dragons.
In the girls game, Winside dropped their fourth straight falling to 2-7 while Madison improved to 4-5. Sophomore Ellie Topp paced Winside with 16 points, sophomore Hadleigh Schutt added 10 points as freshman Bridget Marotz followed with nine points.
During the boys outing, no individual stats were available at the time of submission. Winside fell to 1-8 as Madison improved to 3-6.
The Winside girls and boys will next visit Randolph on Thursday, January 9.
