Winside girls wrestlers were back on the mat for a second straight day of competition.
From Norfolk, 11 girls and six boys teams were showcased at the Norfolk Catholic Invite on Saturday.
The Winside girls finished ninth with 21 points among their two wrestlers.
Battle Creek won the girls division with 153 points, Summerland followed in runner-up (88.5), the host Norfolk Catholic took third (65), Randolph placed fourth (33) and Newman Grove/St. Edward rounded out the top five teams with 32 points.
Winside leaders were Lilly Umbarger (145) placing second as Raylyn Behmer (115) took third.
GACC won the boys division with 123 points, host Norfolk Catholic followed in runner-up (98.5), St. Mary's took third (66.5), Newman Grove/St. Edward placed fourth (30) and Battle Creek (four wrestlers) scored 24 points to round out the top five teams.
The Winside girls will compete in the Class B-3 Girls Districts hosted by Pierce on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 7 - 8.
