Following a road triangular split earlier this week, Winside hosted their third opponent of the season.
From Winside, the Wildcats entertained Bloomfield on Thursday.
Winside took the early 2-0 lead before Bloomfield won on a reverse sweep in five sets. The Wildcats fell to 3-6 as the Bees improved to 4-6.
Scores of the match favored the visiting Bees 20-25, 23-25, 25-19, 25-22, 16-14.
Freshman Bridget Marotz recorded a double-double with 19 kills and 14 digs along with three blocks while sophomore Hadleigh Schutt posted 19 assists and 18 digs to go along with eight kills and three blocks. Junior Jerzi Carlson led the team in digs with 38 to go along with two kills and a block while Samantha Gubbels followed with 24 digs.
Sophomore Ellie Topp finished with 12 kills, eight digs and a block; sophomore Katelyn Jaeger added three kills and five digs as senior Skylar Spann tallied 13 assists, seven digs and one kill. Other digs came from sophomore Raylyn Behmer (three).
Winside finished with 13 service aces. Topp recorded five, followed by Schutt with four as Spann and Carlson both had two service aces.
