It was back to the road for a fifth match in six days for the Winside volleyball team.
From O'Neill on Tuesday, the Wildcats suffered a 3-0 loss at St. Mary's (21-25, 13-25, 21-25) to fall to 2-3.
St. Mary's is now 1-2.
Freshman Aftyn Schutt recorded a team-high 10 kills.
Junior Hadleigh Schutt (nine kills) and freshman Tinsley Schwedhelm (six kills) tied for the team lead with 17 digs.
Junior Raylyn Behmer totled 18 assists, two digs and two kills as fellow junior Adrianna Miller added 11 assists and two service aces.
Junior Katelyn Jaeger tallied 10 digs and seven kills with senior Jerzi Carlson finishing with 11 digs.
The Winside volleyball team will be off until Tuesday, September 9 hosting Wynot starting at 6 p.m.
