Wolfpack shutout by Bees

Early scoring by the opponent stole the show for the home opener of Tri County Northeast football.

From Emerson-Hubbard on September 5, the Wolfpack entertained Bloomfield and dropped a 68-0 decision falling to 0-2.

The visiting Bees improved to 2-0.

Quarter scoring for Bloomfield started with 24 points in the opening quarter, followed by 16 points in the second to lead 40-0 and then back-to-back 14-point quarters in the second half.

Senior Thatcher Lamp finished 3-10 for 52 yards with two interceptions. He also ran the ball 10 times for 44 yards to lead the rushing attack.

Junior Jaxon Hall caught two passes for 48 yards (long of 32).

Sophomore Knox Lamp recorded 10 tackles (three solo) to lead the Wolfpack defense.

Lamp followed with eight tackles (four solo).

Tri Country Northeast football will host a fellow 0-2 team being Laurel-Concord-Coleridge on Friday, September 12 at 7 p.m. in Emerson.
