WSC finishes with 0-0 draw, Truman credited with five saves

Non-conference women’s soccer took over the WSC Soccer Pitch Thursday late afternoon.

Season 2024 featured the Wildcat women’s soccer team hosting Northwestern Oklahoma State.

Both teams had their opportunities but were unable to put the ball in the net. Final featured a 0-0 tie between the Wildcats and Northwestern Oklahoma State.

WSC held an edge in the shot attempt department, 13-11 which included a 9-5 advantage on goal. Northwestern Oklahoma State made nine saves as the ‘Cats finished with five saves.

Wayne State College also held an edge in corner kicks, 4-3.

Maia Vacks paced WSC with three shots, two on goal while both Alaina Sorensen and Halena Handel had two shots on goal.

Madilyn Schmeling, Brynn Magner and Addison Walker all had one shot on goal as Morgan Rhodes, Reagan Allen and Riann Daas all finished with a shot attempt.

Sidney Truman played all 90 minutes in goal and recorded five saves.
