The Wayne State men’s and women’s basketball teams are both set for action in this week’s Northern Sun Conference basketball tournaments.
The Wildcat men won the South Division and are one of the top seeds for the 12-team tournament. They get a bye into the quarterfinals on Saturday and will face either Bemidji State or Augustana in a 7 p.m. contest at the Sanford Center in Sioux Falls, S.D.
The Wayne State women are the fifth seed in the South Division and will travel to University of Mary for a 6 p.m. game on Wednesday, with the winner facing South Division champion Minnesota State on Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
The finals for the tournament are Tuesday, Feb. 28.
