WSC-Minot twinbill moved to Nebraska

Due to this week's snowstorm and predicted cold weather in Minot, N.D. this weekend, the Wayne State at Minot State four-game NSIC baseball series will be relocated to Wakefield and Wayne this weekend and converted to a pair of doubleheaders on Friday and Saturday.

The updated schedule finds a doubleheader played Friday in Wakefield at Eaton Field/Graves Park starting at 1:30 p.m., with Saturday's doubleheader in Wayne at the Pete Chapman Baseball Complex starting at 11:30 a.m. Minot State will remain the home team in the four-game series.

Minot State holds a 19-17 lead in the all-time series against WSC and has won 11 of of the last 13 meetings dating back to 2018. Last year in Wayne, WSC split with the Beavers, losing 11-7 in the opener followed by a 13-12 10-inning win.

The marks the sixth time in the last seven series the games between the two clubs have been played in or moved to Wayne.
