A deadline is fast approaching for the annual Wayne State College women’s soccer trivia night set for early April.
According to a release, for more than a decade WSC women’s soccer has put on their trivia night which is being planned for Saturday, April 5 at the Wayne City Auditorium with a theme of the 1970s decade.
Registration along with a social will begin at 4:45 p.m. followed by the event starting at 6 p.m. Teams of up to 10 will compete against each other by answering the trivia questions while also being able to purchase raffle tickets and bid on many of the silent auction items.
Prizes for the best dressed teams (70s Decade), the coin flip game (have $1 bills) and purchasing answers to trivia questions will also occur.
Registration is cash or check only as cost to attend is $25 per person which will include dinner while the raffles and games are cash only. A cash bar will also be available throughout the event.
Earlier in the day, WSC women’s soccer will be hosting Nebraska-Kearney from the WSC Soccer Field for their spring game. The game is scheduled for a 12:30 p.m. start time.
Since the NCAA DI Final Four also coincides with Trivia Night this year, the games will be streamed live on a TV in the auditorium. One of the trivia rounds will highlight “March Madness,” along with a discount to beverages prior to tip-off and again during half-time.
Deadline to register for the WSC women’s soccer trivia night is prior to Monday, March 31. Reach out to coach Emily Hester at emheste1@wsc.edu or call 402-375-7733 for more information.
