Area high school students and their teachers are invited to participate in High School Art Day each spring, an event that has been organized by the Art & Design Dept since spring 2016. The event includes an opportunity to tour parts of campus and to participate in hands-on workshops led by art faculty and advanced art students.
This year’s event will be held on Wayne State College’s campus Monday, March 30. As part of the invitation to attend WSC’s High School Art Day, high school students are also invited to submit work to be featured in the “High School Art Show”. Two faculty members from WSC’s Art & Design Department will select a Best of Show and a First-Runner-Up, as well as Honorable Mentions.
