Wayne County is part of the Lower Elkhorn Natural Resource District Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan. The plan is being updated.
As part of the update process, the Lower Elkhorn Natural Resource District is conducting a study to better understand the types of hazards the county is most impacted by, and the damage it has caused. The public is being asked to complete a questionnaire in regard to the hazards faced by county residents.
