The Wayne JH Speech team competed against 14 schools at Wayne JH Speech Invite this past weekend and received runner-up as a team. The following individuals medaled for Wayne: Hunter Ruwe--2nd in extemporaneous speaking, Sam Wright/Callen Gamble/Josalynn Young/Sophia Gearhart--3rd in Oral Interpretation of Drama, Whitney Hadcock--5th in serious prose, Caleb Raulston--1st in humorous prose, Whitney Hadcock/Caleb Raulston--1st in Duet Acting, Gabriel Armstrong/Wanso Barner--2nd in Duet Acting, and Alexis Adams--5th in Poetry.
