Wayne High Marching Band prances in streets of Dallas

Leading the Wayne High Marching Band down the streets of Dallas during the Cotton Bowl on New Year's Day are Marli Lundstrom, Carol Wiltse and Kim Dill. The band returned from the parade and football game between Nebraska and Texas late Wednesday after fighting slick roads on the first part of their return journey. Weather was fine when the band first arrived.

Bandsmen on the bus showed the victory sign in Dallas, appropriate because of the Cornhuskers' 19-3 win over the Longhorns.
