Maude Theophilus, 90 years old on Monday, reads how early life was for 95-year-old Maude Auker during Tuesday's special program for seventh grade students at Wayne's city auditorium. Middle School history teacher Dan Johnson holds the microphone for her as Ella Harrington waits to tell how life was as a Red Cross canteen aide during World War I. The two women plus antique displays, a style show and tastes of homemade butter and bread brought history to life for the students at the program.
