May 23, 1985 — WSC track team on to national meet
Five members of the Wayne State women's track team will be competing in six events in the national NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Meet at Hillsdale College, Hillsdale, Mich. Today (Thursday) through Saturday, May 25. Cindy Heesacker, making her third trip to nationals, will run in the 400 meter dash and as a member of the 800 meter spring medley relay team. Missy Stoltenberg has qualified in the long jump, 100 meter hurdles, 100 meter dash and as
a member of the medley relay team. Andra Jones will participate in the javelin throw in the field portion of the meet. Kandy Schott and Kim Pohlman will run the remaining two legs of the medley relay. Pohlman will run the initial 100 meter leg, followed by Schott's 100 meters, Stoltenberg's 200 meter leg and Heesacker anchoring the final 400 meters.
