Prom candidates are announced at Wayne High

The Wayne High Prom will be held on Saturday, April 15. 

This year's Grand March is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Wayne High School Gymnasium. The meal will be served at 7 p.m. at The Beaumont with the dance following from 8-11 p.m. at The Beaumont.

The 2023 Wayne High School Prom royalty candidates include:

Sierra Mutchler is the daughter of Alexis and David Messinger. After high school she plans to attend Wayne State and major in marketing and business;

Brooklyn Kruse is the daughter of Dan and Tracy Kruse. She plans to attend Wayne State College to major in Elementary Education and play on the Women’s Basketball team;

Erin Avery is the daughter of Lori and Steve Avery. She plans to study biology at Wayne State and attend PA school at UNMC. 

Riley Haschke is the daugher of Matt and Liz Haschke. She will be attending Buena Vista University to Study Agricultural Education, and play golf for the Buena Vista Women’s golf team.  

Candace Heggemeyer is the daugher of Lowell and Terri Heggemeyer. She plans to attend the college of Nursing at Northeast Community College and then transfer to University of Nebraska Medical Center to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Nursing.

Easton Blecke is the son of Wesley and Andrea Blecke. He plans to attend the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to study forensic science;

Sedjro Agoumba is the son of Darius Agoumba and Endia Casey-Agoumba. He will be attending Wayne State College to play football, and will major in Sports Media

Brooks Kneifl is the son Scott and Jenny Kneifl. He will attend Kansas State University, with an major undecided and play on the baseball team;

Evan Allemann is the son of Ryan and Jilliane Allemann. He plans to attend the University of Nebraska - Lincoln and study history;

Daniel Judd is the son of Daniel and Rachel Judd. He will be attending Southwest Minnesota State University to play football, and to major in physical education.
