After years of work and changes, a ribbon cutting was held for the Phase II portion of the Wayne Trail.
The event was held at the underpass, along west Highway 35.
Several people spoke at the event, including City Administrator Wes Blecke who talked about the work on this portion of the trail and Lowell Heggemeyer, Parks and Recration Director, who talked about the history of the trail system in Wayne.
