The Wayne Police Department, the Wayne County Sheriff's Office and the Wayne Volunteer Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle accident Thursday afternoon.
The accident occurred shortly after 1 p.m. at the corner of Centennial Road and East Highway 35 near Wayne East.
The two vehicles involved in the accident were towed from the scene.
No information is available at this time on whether there were any injuries.
The accident remains under investigation.
