Weather permitting, shoulder construction, bridge repair, and culvert work will begin the week of Monday, April 18 on Nebraska Highway 35 between the junction of Nebraska highways 35 and 98 and the west corporate limits of Wayne, according to the Nebraska Department of Roads.
Four structures will be repaired. Those structures will be reduced to one lane while repair work is performed. Temporary signals will be used to control traffic through the work zones.
County Road 571 west of Wayne will be closed beginning April 18 to allow for its realignment with N-35. The anticipated completion for this project is late spring 2017.
