It was hard to drive down any street in Wayne on Wednesday morning and not find some evidence of an overnight wind storm.
Branches could be seen everywhere and in several locations, entire trees were uprooted and blown over.
On Oak Drive, an uprooted tree fell on a car and a portion of a home.
Throughout Wayne County reports of power outages were reported.
Storms blew through the area at approximately 5 a.m. and were part of a storm system that brought wind, hail and varying amounts of rain.
Additional storms are predicted through the rest of the week.
