Dean Burbach, current District 2 commissioner, is being challenged for the seat by Dwaine Junck.

Following introductory remarks by each of the candidates, questions from the audience were addressed, both specific to the office and general to government.

They ranged from the top three issues facing the district to reproductive rights to qualities needed to serve the people.

Among the topics highlighting the evening was taxes.
