The Wayne Police Department, Wayne Volunteer Fire Department, the Wayne Street Department crew and Wayne Electrical Department, along with a Providence Medical Center ambulance, responded to the scene of an accident on Monday afternoon.
At approximately 2:30 p.m. a car struck a mailbox near the intersection of 14th Street and Vintage Hill Drive. The car then hit a light pole at the intersection.
