The Wayne State Aristocats Dance team traveled to Orlando, Florida to compete in the UDA National Dance Competition Jan. 13-14. Competing against some of the best teams in the country, the team placed 13th out of 22 teams during their first large-scale competition in the program's history. "The girls were super proud of themselves for their first competition," Coach Taryn Thompson said. "Through the nerves, they carried themselves with professionalism, grace and confidence. We were able to spend time as a team enjoying Disney as well, and we will all remember these moments forever!"
