Three houses that were located just east of the Wayne State College campus are now off their original foundations and sitting in the parking lot on the east side of campus. Moving crews have been working to get the houses ready to be moved to the southwest part of Wayne where they will be available to purchase. The college gave the houses to the Wayne Community Redevelopment Agency, which will be able to get them moved to the Chicago Street area and sold. The college plans to start construction of a new dorm soon on the property.
