April 10, 1975 — Missionary to speak at Allen churches
Ed Erny, a missionary to Taiwan with OMS (Oriental Missionary Society) International, will be speaking at the United Methodist and Springbank Friends Churches at Allen Sunday, April 13. His talks, set for 9:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church and 11 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. at the Springbank Friends Church, are open to the public. Erny, who teaches in the Chung Tai Theological College and directs an English language radio ministry, is also the author of "Mission Accomplished Under Sentence of Death," a book dealing with the life story of henry Steel, a young pastor whose commitment to missions leads him into a world ministry while battling a fatal illness. Thebook is currently in its fourth printing.
