Senior golf outings held on Mondays
Monday, to most, is the worst day of the week.
You have to go back to work or start another week of school. And we have all heard the phrase, "I hate Mondays!"
But from late April to early October, an ever-growing group of area senior men believe Monday is a great day.
That's because they gather at area golf courses for their annual Men's Senior Golf Outing.
What started out as a couple of guys getting together on a Monday morning more than 10 years ago has mushroomed into five area golf courses with over 60 golfers playing every Monday morning.
Adolph Hingst of Wayne, one of the senior golf organizers, says "we wouldn't know what to do on Mondays."
