Christmas program planned
The public is invited to enjoy the sights and sounds of Christmas as three year old through sixth grade Sunday School children of Our Savior Lutheran Church present a special Christmas program on Sunday, Dec. 16 at 2 p.m.
The children will make a "Joyful Noise" to the Lord as they play their instruments, sing songs and re-tell the Christmas Story as found in Luke 2: 1-20.
Songs sung by each age group as well as solos from individual children will tell about the Christmas Bells, Characters of Christmas on that first Christmas Day, as well as the story of that first Christmas morn and how the prophets foretold the coming of His birth.
Weekend worship services are on Saturday evenings at 6 p.m. and Sunday at 8 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m.
The church is located at the corner of Fifth and Main Street in Wayne. For more information, contact the church office at (402) 375-2899.
