WSC honors first ever computer graduate
Among the 154 graduates at Wayne State College Commencement services Friday was Vince Leighty of Wayne, who was the first WSC graduate in its three-year-old computer systems degree program.
He attended graduation with his mother, Jane, and his daughter, Jessica, 9.
Leighty begins work Monday as a computer programmer at IBP.
Friday's commencement at Rice Auditorium honored 144 undergraduate students and 10 graduate students.
