Christmas program is held in Carroll

"The Very Best Christmas Gift" was the Sunday School Christmas program at Carroll United Methodist Church on Dec. 16.

The traditional Christmas story was told within a play about a teenager whose father lost his job and how she learned the real gift of Christmas is Jesus.

Debbie Hall, Sunday School Superintendent, was director with help from the Sunday School teachers Kathy Hochstein, Robyn Hurlbert, Kirby Roberts, Dani Frahm and Alice Rohde.

Those participating were Hannah Kenny, Holly Kenny, Keith Mundil, Rachel Done, Kody Frahm, Chantel Martin, Melissa Frahm, Tymarie Tyrell, Josh Hurlbert, Chris Shultheis, Ryan Dowling, Matt Davis, Brittany Jackson, Curtis Pilger, Lindsi Frahm, Jacob Davis, Becca Dowling, Liz Kenny, Taylor Harris, Karley Pilger, Katlyn Hurlbert, Shailynn Mundil, Jamie Harmer, Alex Davis, Tyler Tyrell, Cory Frahm, Malcolm Martin, Jaret Harmer, Kelyn Roberts, Kyle Mundil and Adam Done.

The Senior High class Andrea Simpson, Justin Davis, Kris Roberts, Megan Frahm, Ashley Hall, Josh Davis, Kari Hochstein, Dustin Hurlbert and Mashala Davis, helped throughout the play.

Christmas cookies and treats were served following the program. Sacks of candy and gifts were given to the children. Debbie Hall and Rev. Mary Browne were given thank you gifts.
