Closer to the goal
Add another $2,000 to the Wayne High School marching band's Cotton Bowl fund. The contribution came from the Wayne-Carroll Music Boosters. Club president Donna Nuss signed over the check to band president Gordon Cook and secretary Carolyn Ellermeier to help the senior high band reach its $12,000 goal. That is the amount needed in order for the band to make its New Year's trip to the Cotton Bowl Parade and Nebraska-Texas football game in Dallas.
