February 27, 1975 — Kiwanians receive 25-year pins

Seven members of Wayne Kiwanis Club were honored for at least 25 years' membership during the club's 52nd anniversary dinner Sunday night at the Wayne State College Student Center. Receiving 25-year pins were B.J. Brandstetter, Adon Jeffrey, William Koeber, Henry Ley, Paul Mines, Willard Wiltse, and Kenneth Olds. Ley is the longest active member, joining the Kiwanis in December of 1945. Right behind him are Jeffrey with 28 years, Wiltse and
Brandstetter with 27, Mines with 26 years and Olds, who was past lieutenant governor of division four with 25 years. Over 80 people from clubs in Wayne, Fremont, West Point and Norfolk attended the annual dinner. Club president Gene Bigelow noted that Sunday's attendance was one of the largest groups ever to attend a club anniversary.
