Herald cast-outs
Wayne Herald Pressman Al Pippitt and Ray Murray have something in common these days- leg casts. Murray underwent knee surgery in late December and is now recovering. Pippitt slipped on the ice and broke his foot about a week ago. With the two pressmen recuperating, Jeff Sperry was left as the only full-timer in the press room. However, advertising salesman Dave Diediker shifted to the press room to fill in. Pippitt is now back in action, but not yet at full speed.
