Chicken Show results released
The 2002 Chicken Show is history and organizers have released the names of the winners in various activities.
The Live Rooster Crowing Contest was won by a rooster owned by Anna Osten of Carroll.
In the Chicken Flying Meet, winners in the feather weight category were: 1. Kasey Aguilar; 2. Jason Marienau and 3. Andrea Pieper.
The biggest egg of the Chicken Show was entered by Camryn Evans of Winside.
Winners have also been announced in the annual parade.
In the Best Small Group of Children, the winner was the Salute to the Little Red Hen Theatre, sponsored by Just Sew and Vel's Bakery.
Rainbow Riders won the prize for Best Theme-related float.
