Troop 174 begins Conservation Campout
In a carefree scene, the Boy Scouts in Troop 174 enjoyed phase one of a conservation campout.
In connection with the National Scouting theme for June, conservationist Arnold Marr arranged an outing on the George Langenberg farm near Hoskins Friday night and Saturday.
On arrival, the boys wasted no time joining the fish in the pond - the day being a steamy scorcher.
On Saturday, Marr took the troop to the Otto Haffke farm, where he explained numerous conservation practices.
