July 9, 1964 — Wayne Boy Scouts to attend National Jamboree Next Week
Seven Boy Scouts from Wayne will embark this weekend on one of scouting's great experiences, the National Jamboree which opens July 17 at Valley Forge, PA. The contingent includes David Jensen of Troop 175, Rocci Marr, David Noyes, Dan and David Rees, Keith Rohrke, and Robert Wreidt, all of Troop 174. Four years ago, another seven boys represented Wayne at the Colorado Springs National jamboree - among them Phil Rees, Ronald Wriedt, and Neal Rohrke, older brothers of the present group. Joining the seven last weekend was Sang Chul Park, one of the eight Korean Boy Scouts, who, with their leader, are also Jamboree bound.
