Mini Dairy Princess 1982 crowned
The Mini Dairy Princess contest highlighted the Area Dairy Days celebration held Friday in Laurel. The contest, held in the city auditorium,
posted ten young girls in talent competition, as well as poise and personality.
Mandi Thomas, the five year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Thomas of Newcastle, was selected Mini Dairy Princess 1982 by a panel of
three judges and was crowned by Lisa Anderson, the princess of 1981.
Area Dairy Days in Laurel also featured a parade, talent contest and several booths set up in the city park for the crowds' enjoyment.
