"The Telephone" to be presented at Wayne State

"The Telephone," one of the popular one-act operas of modern musical literature, will be presented at Wayne State Tuesday night.

The public is invited to this comic opera buffa at 8 p.m. in the Administration Building Auditorium.

Taking the two roles are Marleen Gordon, as the telephone-addicted Lucy, and Carlton Gordon, as her long-suffering suitor Ben, who always finds himself playing second fiddle to the telephone.

In real life, Marleen and Carlton have already solved courtship problems. They are married. Both received diplomas in April- she a master's and he a bachelor's.
