Sharyl Longe, Lloyd Luedtke Marry In Double Ring Rite at Redeemer Church
Sharyl Ann Longe, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Longe, Wayne, and Lloyd Leo Luedtke, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Luedtke, Wisner were married last Monday evening at Redeemer church.
Rev. S. K. de Freese officiated at the candle light double ring ceremony. George Konopik sang "O Perfect Love" and "Wedding Prayer" accompanied at the organ by Ted Bahe.
Candles decorated the pews and gladiolias were on the altar.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white gown of Chantilly lace. The basque bodice featured long sleeves. Tiny ruffles adorned the floor length skirt which had an apron effect overskirt of lace tucked at each side with peau de sois roses.
The bride chose a blossom veil with pouf of illusion and carried a cascade of white lilies with pink and blue streamers.
Mrs. Glen Holland, Wisner, sister of the bridegroom, served as matron of honor and bridesmaids were Gayle Fuoss, Mrs. Bob Feller, Wisner, and Mrs. Elgin Toelle, Beemer.
They wore ballerina length gowns of pink and blue in sheer nylon fashioned with a draped neckline, cap sleeves and roses fastened to cumberbands. The full skirts had deep hems, trimmed with self-material. They carried colonial bouquets of blue, white and pink daisies
with white carnation centers.
Dennis Longe, Wisner and Russell Stueve, Wisner were groomsmen. Ushers were Norman Lubberstudt, Dixon and Gene Holland, Wisner.
Candlelighters were Laura Lueders, Wakefield, and Sandra Holland, Wisner. Mike Test, Norfolk, served as ringbearer and Lorie Anderson, Wisner as flowergirl.
The bride graduated from Wayne High and worked at Greiss Rexall.
The bridegroom attended Wisner high school and is employed at Farmers Union Co-Op Station.
After a brief wedding trip the couple will reside in Wisner.
