Prom royalty candidates announced
Details in regard to the 2012 Wayne High School Prom have been announced prior to the Saturday, March 24 event.
Candidates for royalty include Gage Rethwisch, son of Rich and Kathi Rethwisch; Chris Rogers Jr., son of Chris and Becky Rogers; Luke Trenhaile, son of Jason and Phylis Trenhaile; Miles Anderson, son of Steve and Peg Anderson and Quentin Jorgensen, son of Ken and Kate Jorgensen as king candidates.
Queen candidates include Caitlin Fehringer, daughter of Dan and Shelly Fehringer; Elle Schramm, daughter of Nancy Schramm; Katelyn Matthes, daughter of Lonnie and Pam Matthes; Kristin Carroll, daughter of Doug and Shannon Carroll and Natalie Sieler,
daughter of Dallas and Sonja Hansen and Nic Sieler.
This year's prom theme is "Midnight Masqurade." Colors are black, silver, purple and red.
This year's song is "We Found Love" by Rihanna, and music will be provided by Majestic Sound.
The Grand March will be held at 6:30 p.m. at Ramsey Theater on the Wayne State College campus. The crowning of the king and queen will take place immediately following the march.
The banquet will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Frey Conference Suite at Wayne State College and will be followed by the dance in the lower level of the Student Center from 9 p.m.-12 a.m.
