Carroll selects delegates to Girls State in Lincoln

A 16-year-old junior at Wayne High has ben selected to represent Carroll at Girls State in June.

Pam Ulrich, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Ulrich of Carroll, was chosen by the Carroll American Legion Auxiliary and Woman's Club to attend Girls State in Lincoln.

The alternate delegate is Shelly Granfield, 16-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dwayne Granfield of Carroll.

Miss Ulrich is a junior at Wayne-Carroll High School and is employed part-time at Bill's GW in Wayne.

She is a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Carroll, and was a member for one year of Carroll's All Faith Youth.

Her interests include caring for young children, cooking, and
spending time with her family.

Miss Granfield also is a junior at Wayne-Carroll High School. She has been an honor student during the past three years of high school, is a member of the W Club and varsity choir, and participated in band.

She was volleyball and track student manager during her sophomore year. She is employed part-time at The Wayne Herald.
