Wayne High Musicians get 19 superiors in Music Clinic
Wayne High musicians earned 19 superior ratings in the District III music contest in Wayne last Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Wausa performed one superior better collecting 20 of the coveted ratings.
Neither school had a performance lower than the second ranking excellent - Wayne with five of them and Wausa with four.
Laurel students earned 16 superiors, Allen 10, Wiser and Hartington nine, Pierce ad Plainview eight, Tilden seven, Ponca and Bloomfield six, Wakefield, Randolph Osmound and Stanton five.
Wayne scored a fine record in ensemble competition, with superior ratings by the band, mixed chorus, orchestra, madrigals, girls triple trio, brass sextet, horn quartet, clarinet quartet, woodwind choir and girls trio.
