Smith named All-American Scholar

The United States Achievement Academy recently announced that William H. Smith of Wayne has been named an AllAmerican Scholar.

The USAA has established the All-American Scholar Award Program to offer deserved recognition to superior students who excel in the academic disciplines. The All-American Scholars must earn a 3.3 or higher grade point average. These are awards few students attain.

Smith, who attends Wayne Middle School, will appear in the All American Scholar Yearbook, which is published nationally.

Smith is the son of Karen Smith and the late William R. Smith, Jr. of Wayne. The grandparents are Harvey and Janet Reeg of Wayne and William and Diana R. Smith Sr. of Prescott Valley, Ariz.
