President describes new campus additions
Wayne Chamber of Commerce members visited the Wayne State campus in two shifts this week, the first group Tuesday, the second Thursday. After viewing the remodeling of Connell Hall (the old Student Union), Chamber men lunched at the Student Center and heard President W. A Brandenburg's description of future building plans. Work on the tax-financed fine arts build-ing, he said, must await Governor Morrison's decision on priorities for all state construction. But the natatorium addition to the Rice gym with proceed on the college's own schedule because it is financed by revenue bonds. Both the fine arts building and natatorium will be real show places, the president said.
