New editor is named for Wayne Herald
Norvin Hansen has been named editor of The Wayne Herald, replacing Claire Hulbert.
Hansen, 32, worked on the news staff of the North Platte Telegraph the past year. He served as the regional editor for the daily newspaper for about the past eight months.
The change in editors was effective Monday, according to Jim Marsh, business manager of the Herald.
A native of Bloomfiled and a graduate of Wayne State College, Hansen worked on the Wayne newspaper for three and one-half years before accepting a job with the North Platte newspaper.
Hansen and his wife, Janet Jo, have two small children named Scott Alan and Krista Marie. They live at 109 East Ninth St. in Wayne.
