Spirit Week features royal couple

Homecoming week at Wayne-Carroll High School got underway Monday evening with crowning of the 1992 royalty in the high school lecture hall.

Reigning as homecoming queen is Angie Thompson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Thompson.

The 1992 homecoming king is Chad Paysen, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Paysen.

Spirit Week activities continue with "Nerd Impersonation Day," "P.J. & Baby Day," "Hippie, GI & Clash Day and "Blue Day" on Friday.

Homecoming activities also include a breakfast dance on Wednesday at 7 a.m. in the high school commons.

Highlighting the week will be a homecoming football game between Wayne and O'Neill on Friday evening at 7:30 p.m.

A special halftime show will feature the Wayne High School Blue Devil Marching Band performing their marching contest show, followed by the O'Neill High School marching band and both groups performing several selections together.
