From the October 8, 1981 edition of The Wayne Herald:

New Convent Completed

Construction was recently completed on the Missionary Bennedictine Sisters convent located east of the Providence Medical Center (PMC) in Wayne.

The convent will be the new residence of Sisters associated with PMC, who say they are hopeful that they can move into the new single-story, wood-frame structure this weekend.

The convent is funded entirely by Missionary Bennedictine Sisters of Norfolk and will make available four more hospital rooms at PMC, where the Sisters have resided.

The convent is located in the Marywood Subdivision and contains a sinlge-car garage, four main bedrooms, two extra bedrooms, a kitchen area, living room and chapel area. Contractor was Town and Country Builders of Wayne.
