September 16, 1974 — The Simple Truth Appearing in Wayne and Area Communities
"Country-jazz with a touch of the unusual" is how the Simple Truth describe their message of Christ which will be presented in concert at Wayne State College and in area high schools and churches during the week. The performances are being sponsored by the Allen United Methodist and Springbank Friends Churches. Coming from Kansas City, the four-member group will appear Wednesday evening at the Wayne State College Birch Room at 8 p.m. On
Friday, they will conduct assemblies at the Allen High School at 9:30 a.m. and at the Wakefield High School from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. An 8 p.m. concert is scheduled for Saturday evening at the Allen Community Park. The Simple Truth will present special music during morning worship services Sunday at the Allen United Methodist and Springbank Friends Churches, and again that evening at the Methodist Church in Allen.
