Books donated to library
The Eagles Auxiliary donated $100 worth of large print books to the Wayne Public Library.
The Eagles gave $100 toward the Golden Eagle Fund which in turn supplied the books to the library of the auxiliary's choice.
This was the fifth year the local group has donated to the fund as one of its humanitarian projects.
A subscription to large print Readers Digest was included in the donation.
The Golden Eagle committee includes librarian Kathleen Tooker, Florence Geewe, Ruth Korth, DeAnn Hellmers, Auxiliary President Fern Test and Janice Barelman.
